Key takeaways

  • Stay overnight in Agra to see the Taj at sunrise.
  • Avoid Fridays in Agra — the Taj is closed.
  • Use the Yamuna Expressway to save time between Delhi and Agra.

The Golden Triangle links three of India’s most iconic cities. Five days is the sweet spot — enough to see the highlights without rushing.

Day 1: Delhi

Start with Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar and India Gate at dusk.
